hello all, happy christmas!

after a week of much fluctuation, i am weighing in today at 157.8, i would like to say i have gained 6pds and successfully taken it back off again since my last weigh in! All sorts of reasons why incl that i am eating more, but still working out. I know i am over my daily allottment, i am not able to completely stay focused with company here in regards to either so i am happy to come in today with my lower number. :)

I've had 4 days at 2150 calories and still no noticable gain but I'm in no hurry to increase calories further, even if it means I'm standing still. I will reach my goal just not as quickly as I was expecting to (so much easier on the head for weight gain as opposed to for weight loss, speaking from my experience). On the other hand once I've done 2-3 weeks at 2150 and if I'm still not gaining at 1lb-a-month I'll consider an increase. I'm 51.91kg or 114.3lb (same as last week). Here's the graph.

...heading in the wrong direction during the holidays. However, that's exactly what I need to see to get my *ss in gear for my New Years resolutions! I've had my fun, now its back to business.

I guess 127.6 will be my final weigh in since my scale needs a new battery and I won't get to replace it for at least another week.

I forgot to post last week, up 1 lb so am at 259 again, will post tomorrow again, and hopefully not up again.  My RA is flaring so I am holding water something terrible.  Hopefully that is the only problem.

Last week I decided to try to get to 220 before the end of the year. I had some time off work and averaged more than 2 hours a day working out during my 4 day weekend. It paid off, as my weigh in today is

223.4

I only have 4 days left to reach overweight status, so I'm pretty sure it won't happen this year, but I will be starting off next year with a bang.

Final weigh in 127.1. down .3

Although I didn't make my goal but I am happy with losing almost 10 pounds (9.9 )especially since this ran over the holidays. As a team we have done fantastic, it looks like we will be at or near 100 pounds....what a great group.

I love these challenges and I can't wait for the next one. Now to not gain wieght between now and January 1st. It's a vacation week for me so for me the challenge continues this week.

Nir, again, thank you so much for taking the time to run these challenges. They really are fantastic.

Yes, a typo!  Thanks for pointing that out BJ.

Four inch pushups are not really pushups, but I'm working on it.

Hey Nance.... anything that you can do is AWESOME! pushups are not the easiest exercise, try doing a pull up though and you will surely appreciate MORE how much you can do in regards to push ups.:wink:I havent ever been able to do a pull up, wish i could! :)

I am off to work on the wood pile, and then hopefully my workout!!! :) Have a wonderful day!!! :)

Ending on a very disappointing 150.4

I guess with the holidays that's not so bad, a 1.6 drop.  I'm confident I'll do better next challenge.

today i weighed in at 159. i am not too terribly upset because of the intense fluctuations i have had this past few weeks. I have ballooned back up to 163 over the last few weeks and come back down and around again, so today i am happy with this new lower number. :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! (i just love Hikers fireworks, and I am sharing them with everyone!!!)

Nir, thanks so much for taking the time to put these AWESOME challenges together! I know I dont always make my goals, but your challenges SURE DO keep me on my toes more than I would without them!!! Big Hug and HappY NeW YeaR! :)
