It looks like most of the hairstyles (marked with a red +) you can only 'try on' if you subscribe.  For $7.95 and a one-week pass I thought it was worth it - until I realized I'd have to give them my real name to use a credit card.

Ah well.  I was able to try on some colors anyway.  Fun!

OK, if you insist, LOL.

Here's one I took today - I think it makes my head look bigger.

Yea, it's short, but I like how they took more off the sides, makes your face look really thin.... so, that is good! geezzz, man you look like a young pup...

My hair is about 1/2 inch above my shoulders when I pull it straight. I have some problematic accidental bangs, but I've found taking two buff clips and doing low french twists at the back of my head keeps it out of the way fairly well. Assuming you don't do sit-ups or anything that would have them poking into your skull :|

It sounds like your hair is about the same length as mine. I amazed at how fast mine has been growing.

I don't wear it down allot, cause it is a pain to style. But, usually if I do, it looks good.

I have bang problems also. They are very thin, and have gotten use to the up do that I wear everyday. So, when I wear it down I have trouble getting them to do what I want.

In my picture (avatar) my bangs are above my eyebrows, now they are past my nose. I have no clue what to do with them. I would just pull them back with the rest of my hair, but I don't really like that look on me.

Anyway, my plan is to get highlights and have a nice trim to shape my hair. I haven't had it cut since last summer. I did trim my bangs a few times myself to keep them under control. But, now it is time for a professional.

I used to have long hair and got sick of it - too much of a pain.  Too hot.  Too annoying.  I've been thinking about shaving my head completely bald and getting some tattoos for a while now - and one of these days I will.  Probably the same day that I'll climb up on some water tower shouting "Top of the world, Ma!  Top of the World!"

I say the same thing.  "I've had enough, I'm just going to shave my head!"

But your husband must be much nicer than mine Cindy, mine just goes "Well go ahead, get on with it, let's see what you'll look like!"

Ok, Hair issues again. My bangs are driving me crazy. They hang in my eyes and cause me all sorts of grief. So, was thinking I might cut them today. Right now they hang down past my nose. So, I thought I would like something like this.

That way I could wear my hair down or put it up in a pony and still have cute bangs. I was going to go with side sweep bangs. But, I think this is so much cuter...

I am kind of nerves cause this will take off several inches off my bangs. So, what you think. Should I go for it?

your hair looks ALOT like Halles now, hers is simply ironed straight and then curled with a big iron for that loopy effect. I think your hair is very pretty and so long. I dont know if cutting your bangs will make you happy or just end you back up where you are NOW, with them growing out all over again......? I have finally let bangs go, and now all i have is what comes in as new growth that is really seen when i have it all back in pigtails. I am happy with my hair now, and you guys would be jealous of daveys hair as its growing out and its past his shoulders and blonde waves all over...he is so into the 80s big hair bands hair styles....but if any of you saw or know Def Leppard...he is in running with the singer, Joe. I at first wasnt too keen, but now as it keeps growing, he is so happy and he puts it into a small piggytail when he is working outside and i am almost jealous.....! Mine is shorter in a tail than his, cuz of all my layers...and curls....

I washed mine yesterday and let it dry naturally and it looked like i just got a spiral perm. Some days my hair really ROCKS!!! I am only interested in letting my hair grow at this point, to get it closer to yours Cindy! I wish my hair was as long and thick as yours!

Ok, I look like a total gimp in this picture, but it is the one that shows the new cut the best.....

Yes, I did it.....I got them to short. I knew I would do that :dizzy:. Good thing that hair grows back. Anyway, I like it. My hair looks pretty much the same just without the hair in my eyes.... So, I am happy...

Oh ps: I found two grey hairs when doing this...ugh!

Bj- I wasn't really trying to grow out my bangs. I have never looked very good with long bangs. But, it's hard to have long hair and nice bangs. So, this was my happy medium...

I really thought a side sweep cut would work, but I did that last time and had huge issues with curling my sides after that. I had to make it do what I wanted. This worked out so much better.

I really wish I had more hair. My hair is so thin, that is make it hard to even have nice bangs that don't look stringy and stuff.

Hair! it's just one of those things that drives me crazy...

lol, feel free to jump in and know it all, anytime. I am rarely offended by people....

Awwww.... you to are cute...and you look so happy...

You must not have bangs or I can't tell from the pic... My hair is wavy naturally, but it's not very nice looking so I curl it. I can get away with just doing the top part at times...

Most times I wear it up in a pony anyway...

no bangs now, the shortest is at my chin, of just above my chin. on the crown its shorter, but that never reflects as a bang anyway....oh us women, we are never satisfied!!! hee hee have a great day! i agree with the ponytail, i always put mine into pigtails, like when i was a kid. Madeline and i do it, she is so into horsies now, its fun to play that game to get her bangs off her face. She has them, just past her mouth but they dont stay back in the tail since her hair is very fine. I am trying to get hers all to one length...its taking a long time, but she had a bowl cut when we moved in so she has come a long way! And i had a chin length bob then! So we both have changed alot!

Yea, I think it takes longer for little people's hair to grow. At least thats how it seems with the young ones I watch...

Seriously Nick! it was driving me crazy. My hair was poking me in my eyes and making it really hard to get anything done. My eyes were watering and I was rubbing them and everything. I was about to shave my head... lol. I did finally pull my bangs back for sanity reasons. But, then I had to walk around the rest of the night looking like a moron, cause I don't look good with no bangs.

lol, my daughter even ask "what's up with your hair" lol

Who would of thought something so stupid could turn my world upside down... lol

I did a copy and paste and couldn't get rid of the extra box..... geez, hope my internet gets to working better soon...

Cport, I stopped over to check out your new hair pic after you mentioned it in your diary.  It looks fabulous!  I think the bangs are very flattering, and love the soft curls.  You should be quite pleased!

I about had a panic the day after I cut them. They were in that freak out stage I guess. Cause they wouldn't do nothing. But, then the next day they were fine.

So, all in all, I am glad I did it. It gives me so many more options on hair styles this way. I can wear it down, pulled back, or however I want, without having to worry about it hanging in my face.

I was seriously starting to feel like an untrimmed dog, lol.

Ok, the fricking hair is ticking me off again. UGH!

Well after the bike it was all frizzy from sweating, so I thought I would try to straighten it. I don't like it strait, so why I do this :dizzy: is beyond me.

So, I did that, and of course didn't like it. So, thought Ok, I will just recurl it. HA! Now, it won't even hold a curl.

I swear I am going to go and get it cut. I hate it right now. It's really getting on my nerves.

I thought maybe tomorrow, I will try using a smaller iron and see what it does with that. I will probably end up with big horns or something. I just really think it makes me look old this way.

Any suggestions?

I was thinking a cute little punk rocker hair cut- something like a pat bentar hair do, lol. What do you think?

I should just wait it out. It will probably curl fine tomorrow and everything will be back to normal. I don't know why I let it bother me so bad.

One of my daycare parents- that I like and am pretty good friends with told me - it makes me look old  That's not the look I am going for.

Wait til tomorrow.  It could just be a bad hair day!  I have quite long hair, to my bra strap usually, and I am always thinking of getting bangs, or cutting it into a bob... if I wait it out, I am usually happy.  Sometimes all I need is some color to pep it up.
