I never really watch much tv. But, now that winter is coming and I will be watching some while on the treadmill. Got me to thinking about what shows I really enjoy watching.

Heres some that I like and would love to hear which ones you guys are watching.

Everybody loves Raymond- My favorite- cracks me up everytime I watch it.

Reba- is a close second to raymond- funny

This fall I will be watching boston legal, dancing with the stars (can't wait) I love walking to this show.

Also, love that 70's show- reminds me of being young again. lol

Ok, join the fun and tell what you like and why....

Dexter!  Sick, twisted, funny and AWESOME!

Entourage - misogynistic, filthy and cotton candy.  And I can't stop watching.

The Daily Show - may be faux, but it's still more news then you get in any other 1/2 hour.

South Park - 9 year olds with dirty mouths.  What's not to love?

My life on the D-list - Kathy Griffin isn't everyone's cup of tea, but she's right up my alley.

America's Test Kitchen - the best cooking show on television.

The Amazing Race - best reality show on television.  Tense, fun, educational and for the most part not smarmy.  Plus I would love to be Philiminated! (:wink:)

The Biggest Loser - I hate the fact that they eliminate at all, but for the most part it's the only show - ever - to show very large people in a positive and human light.  Also, even though I eschew "inspirational" television I find this show quite uplifting.

Oldies I can't get enough of:  Golden Girls, Murphy Brown, Designing Women, Roseanne - there was a time in the 80s and early 90s when chicks RULED TV.

Looking at my list -  I may watch too much TV.

I don't watch a lot of TV, but there are many shows that I like:

Law & Order - I am a Law & Order junkie. I love all of them, but SVU is my favorite. Crime dramas are cool. Monk is good, too.

I've seen a few of Everybody Loves Raymond. It's pretty funny. I like a lot of the oldies, too, like Full House, Family Matter, and yes, Golden Girls, too.

I also like cartoons - Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is hilarious. SpongeBob is cool, too, along with Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny and all them old folk.

Hands down the best t.v. show on the planet.  I have seriously thought (for years) about actually submitting a videotape to be a contestant but haven't (so far) been able to convince anyone to apply with me as a partner.

OK, how 'bout

The Closer-Strong, quirky, 40-something woman character...gotta love that.
Monk-I love how they show this guy w/ fairly debilitating mental illness who is still a compelling person and able to make important contributions
Biggest Loser-I agree w/ Midge
Top Chef
Sunday Morning Political Talk Shows
Daily Show
Colbert Report
The Office
30 Rock

The last 4 really make me laugh, and that's hard to do.

For the elliptical or treadmill I like a good sports event-basketball, baseball or tennis cause they get me feeling motivated.

Biggest Loser - favorite by a long shot!  Always inspiring and motivating.
Grey's Anatomy - missed some of last season, but I'll catch up.
Deal or No Deal - just plain and simple fun.
American Idol - a real GUILTY pleasure
Judge Judy/Judge Alex - always on when I'm unwinding from work.
Ellen - she makes me laugh
Days of Our Lives - too bad I'm not home at 1:00...unless it's a day off
Supernatural - Awesome show.  Love demons  and the two guys are cute, too.
How I Met Your Mother - Funny and wacky
Ghost Whisperer - yeah, I like ghosts, too
Sunset Tan - even worse guilty pleasure than American Idol!

I'm sure there's more...wow, I watch way too much TV too!

Oooo Dexter when does that start again? I watched the first season and then they weren't playing it anymore and I LOVED IT.

If you like So you Think you can Dance, the new season of So you think you can Dance Canada starts soon. Whoop Whoop.

Other shows I love are CSI (all of them), Law and Order and of course Sex & The City which I can watch over and over again.

oh my..... I think dancing with the stars is on tonight. I have been waiting and waiting.....lol ( I love walking on the treadmill to this show ).

I think my favorite dancer is back also. He's was the one that danced with mel b, two season ago- i think..

I seen him on the commercial for it, but I guess that doesn't mean he will be on it. Also, I think that one soap star is going to be on it. Susan lucci- lol, that should be fun. Not to mention the volleyball player from the Olympics.

Wow, I really should get a life....lol

Last nights dancing with the stars was great.

Bonus, on again tonight. I really had to book butt to get stuff done in time to watch the show....

by the way, I was really disappointed in susan lucci. Man, she is one little chick, lol. She looked like you could snap her in half. Plus, for a soap star, she sure was meek.

Then the old lady on there, LOL, she about stoled the show for awhile. I feel sorry for her partner.

Oh yea! I totally forgot about boston legal. LOL! I love that show...

I know this is an old thread, but the subject is never old.

Since November I've been watching the series "Breaking Bad" on AMC.   Happened on it while channel surfing and couldn't turn it off.   Been trying to catch up from reruns since.   Anyone else watch this?

I love this new show!  I sort of figured it'd be silly, but am pleasantly surprised it's turning out to be a good show.

I hate to admit it, but I've been watching 'Dance Your Ass Off' - kind of a cross between So You Think You Can Dance & The Biggest Loser.  It's a bit cheesy, but I like it.

Also 'Ruby' on the Style network - I love this woman!!

hey guys!

just saw this thread and had to share my loves....

BONES, recently introduced and hooked quickly, banter, comedy, awesome storylines and engaging partners.. :)

CSI Las Vegas, seen all the shows, even with Lawrence Fishbourne..though i prefer William Peterson...even own the first few seasons...

Ghost Whisperer, Dark Blue, Royal Pains, In Plain Sight, Monk, Ghost Hunters and GH International, Warehouse 13.....all dramas all exciting and mind bending....I really enjoy USA and SciFi Channel.

I was a huge ER fan, but they are gone now so i have kinda taken a liking to Southland, I always enjoy a good Law and Order SVU or Criminal Intent but not regularly.

I am looking forward to having GLEE come back in the fall, I watched the first episode and loved all the signing, esp the songs that i grew up with...

I like the shows where you have to think, you have to figure out the crime....make the wrong right....i think the only show that is a reality show i enjoy just because i relate is Tori and Dean on Oxygen.....somedays i feel like i am listening to my hubby and myself have our conversations on the tv and get a big kick out of that. I am kinda looking forward to watching the househusbands of hollywood, just to see how the men manage the house.....i think it will be entertaining to say the least. :)

I love the action shows, like you say the cop, hospital, emergency situations....there are more out there to come this season, cant wait to see if any compare to ER or CSI or Law and Order or anything else that gets your blood pumping! :)

Scrubs
FRIENDS (how has no one mentioned this?  Am I the only addict here?)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Top Chef
Project Runway
Law & Order SVU (I don't especially care for the other ones but I could watch SVU all day, in fact I've been known to sit through almost an entire marathon)
